The Innova Firebird is a legendary overstable fairway/control driver known for its reliable fade, excellent wind resistance and exceptional control. The flatter profile and torque tolerance make the Firebird a utility tool for many players: from powerful forehands to skip lines and vertical shots (thumber/tomahawk). It is a disc you can trust in all conditions.
Who is it for?
• For intermediate and advanced players – when stability and a predictable finish are needed.
• For casting against the wind – Firebird “holds” the line even in strong gusts.
• For forehand/flick shots – the solid edge and flat top give you a lot of confidence.
• For utility situations – skip casts, short dogleg lines, thumber/tomahawk, spike hyzer.
Features:
• Pronounced overstability – minimal turn and reliable, strong fade at the end.
• Excellent torque tolerance – withstands aggressive spin and speed, especially forehand.
• Wind resistant – does not deviate from the trajectory, ideal for stormy days.
• Flatter profile – fast, clean separation and controlled “skips”.
• Versatile in plastics – from Champion/Star durability to special editions with even greater stability.
Why is it worth choosing?
The Innova Firebird is a great choice if you are looking for a reliable, wind-resistant and predictable control driver that confidently "returns" at the end and allows you to create a variety of, even extreme, trajectories. It is a disc that often "save the round" - when it is needed with precision and confidence.

Innova Proto Glow Champion plastic – maximum durability, exceptional glow, and reliable stability
Innova Proto Glow Champion – this is a premium version of Champion plastic with next-generation "Proto Glow" technology, designed to deliver one of the brightest glows on the market. This plastic retains all the characteristics of Champion – exceptional resistance to wear, stiffness, and long-lasting flight characteristics – but additionally offers significantly better visibility in the dark. Many players also note that Proto Glow Champion discs are often slightly more stable than standard Champion plastic versions.
Features:
- Maximum durability: The Champion base ensures exceptional resistance to impacts, scratches, and wear, even with intensive use.
- Ultra-bright glow (Proto Glow): One of Innova's most advanced glow technologies – quickly charged with a UV flashlight or sunlight and remains brightly visible for a long time.
- Slightly increased stability: Most Proto Glow Champion discs exhibit a more stable flight than their regular Champion plastic counterparts.
- Retains flight properties for a long time: Due to its high resistance, the plastic wears out very slowly, so the disc flies as intended by the manufacturer for a long time.
- Firm feel in hand: The stiffer plastic structure provides a confident release and is perfect for stronger throws.
- Excellent choice for challenging conditions: Ideal for playing in the woods, evenings, or night rounds when maximum visibility is important.
- Collector's value: Proto Glow editions are often released in limited quantities, making them valued by both players and collectors.
Why choose it?
Proto Glow Champion – an excellent choice for players looking for durable premium plastic with an exceptional glow and reliable, stable flight. This is one of the best choices for night disc golf, but due to its durability and predictability, it is also perfectly suitable for everyday rounds and competitions.
Note: The clarity, color, stiffness, and glow intensity of the plastic may vary slightly depending on the production batch. Each Proto Glow Champion disc is slightly unique.
